Devyai Kumari’s research focuses on Climate Policy, Energy Access, Environmental Finance, and Forest Sustainability. In light of IPCC 1.5 report, I am even more dedicated to making a difference in saving the world’s forests and animals. In my spare time, I hike the West Coast Mountains and play Ultimate Frisbee on various club teams.

What I do now: I already switched professions in 2010 from Business to Climate science (where my heart lies)

Wildlife biology

To be able to speak with Nature (all flora & fauna)

Hike the remote mountains

A Wildlife warden – fighting poachers!

Looking at the direct impacts of climate change on my Himalayan mountains
